CPU Internal Cache/External Cache
Cache memory is additional memory that is much faster than conven-
tional DRAM (system memory). When the CPU requests data, the system
transfers the requested data from the main DRAM into cache memory, for
even faster access by the CPU. The settings enable/disable the internal
cache (also known as L1 or level 1 cache) and external cache (also known
as L2 or level 2 cache). Setting options: Disabled, Enabled.
CPU L2 Cache ECC Checking
This setting allows you to enable or disable the ECC (Error-Correcting
Code) feature for error detection and correction when data passes through
L2 cache memory. Setting options: Enabled and Disabled.
Virus Warning
This setting allows you to choose the virus warning feature for IDE Hard Disk
boot sector protection. If this function is enabled and someone attempts to
write data into this area, BIOS will show a warning message on screen and
alarm beep.
Disabled
No warning message appears when anything attempts
to access the boot sector or hard disk partition table.
Enabled
Activates automatically when the system boots up caus
ing a warning message to appear when anything attempts
to access the boot sector of hard disk partition table.
Processor Number Feature
This option is for Pentium
check the CPU Serial number. Disable this option if you don't want the system
