After long periods of disuse we recommend to run the "Tub Clean" programme without
a load and a small amount of detergent or a special machine cleaner to remove possibly
corruptive residues.

8.4 Long periods of disuse

If the appliance is left idle for a longer period:
1. Pull out the electrical plug (Fig. 8.4-1).
