7- Haier Smart
Note: Deviations
Due to constant updates of Haier Smart the functions and the display interface of the
APP
7.1 General
This appliance is WiFi enabled and can be controlled remotely via a smartphone. With
Haier Smart APP, you can use your smartphone to do the following on this appliance:
Select program, set program parameters,control device startup, pause, shutdown, etc.
View the running status of the device in real time .
Receiving various prompts such as end of program reminder, fault alarm, etc.

Please
observe the safety precautions in this user manual and make sure that these are
complied with even when operating the appliance via the Haier Smart APP while you

ay from home. You must also follow the instructions in the Haier Smart APP.

The APP function will be updated continuously with the upgrade of the version, which is
subject to the actual function of the cor-responding version.
7.2 Requirements
1. One wireless router (802.11b/g/n protocol) which supports only the frequency band
of 2.4 GHz. Router name and password shall both have a length of less than 20 visible
characters. Minimum length of password must be 8 characters. Router encryption
methods include open, WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK.
2. One mobile phone to install Haier Smart APP. The mobile phone shall have an opera-
ting system superior to Android 4.0 or IOS7.0.
3. The appliance shall be installed in a position where it can receive WiFi signals. If the ap-
pliance is not properly connected to the wireless router, the prompt of "Please make
sure that the mobile and the device are connected to the same WiFi." is displayed; no
remote control nor WiFi icon appears.

8.3 Download and installation of Haier Smart APP:
Scan the QR code (Fig. 7.3-1) with your mobile phone
or type the following link into the browser:
https://resource.haieriot.net/download/app/uplus/
Install the correct operation system according to your
mobile phone.
Note: Haier Smart
The availability of the Haier Smart functionality
depends on the availability of the Haier Smart ser-
vices in your country. Haier Smart services are not
available
in every country.
