6. Remove the input shaft assembly (O) from the
gearbox.

7. Increase the temperature of the gearbox to
approximately 140°C.
8. Remove the bearing (T) on the output shaft. If it is
necessary, hit the gearbox against a wooden block
until the bearing falls out.
9. Remove the the gear (V) and bearing (X) from the
output shaft (U).
10. If it is necessary to replace the bearings (R and Q),
remove the snap ring (P) from the input shaft (S).
7.14.3 To assemble and install the gearbox
1. Put the gear (V) on the output shaft (U).

2. Attach the 2 bearings (T and X).

3. Put on protective gloves. Use a hot air gun to
increase the temperature of the angle gear to
approximately 140°C.
4. Put the output shaft into the gearbox. Make sure that
the bearings are in their correct positions. If it is
necessary, use a sufficient punch and make sure
that the output shaft is attached to the gearbox.
5. Attach the bearings (R and Q) on the input shaft.

6. Make sure that the snap ring (P) that holds the ball
bearings in position is attached.
7. Make sure that the gearbox is approximately 110°C.
8. Put the input shaft assembly into the gearbox with a
pair of pliers or a sleeve.
