3. Pull out the starter rope approximately 30 cm. Put
your thumb on the starter pulley. Put the starter rope
in the groove in the starter pulley. Let the starter
pulley rotate slowly rearward until there is no tension
in the recoil spring.
WARNING: The recoil spring can cause
injury to your thumb when the starter pulley
rotates in reverse.
4. Remove the screw (A), the washer (B), the pulley
(C) and the torsion spring (D).

5. Remove the starter pulley (E) to get access to the
recoil spring (F).
WARNING: Be very careful when you
remove the starter pulley. The recoil spring
can eject and cause injury to you.
