This chapter describes the PVR (Personal Video Recorder) function that allows you to record a programme in the
connected hard disk drive. Using the built-in hard disk drive, you can record a programme without an external media
device such as a VCR.
note:

You can access this menu only in Digital TV input mode. You can record the digital TV or radio programmes only. The
analog channels and external AV inputs can't be recorded.
▪
Do not disconnect the power plug when you reserve the scheduled recordings or while recording a programme. If you
disconnect the power plug while recording, the recording will be failed.
▪
The minimum recording time storable is more than 0 seconds.
▪
It is not possible to access the DtV Setup > installation menu during recording or playback. You will need to stop the
recording/playback to access the menu. And you are not able to edit digital channels during recording.
How to navigate the Menu
button
Menu Displays the menu.
▲/▼ Moves among menus or items.
oK or ► Selects (Enters) a menu or confirms a selection.
bAcK or ◄ Goes back to the previous screen.
nuMbeR Enters the number (0~9).

The default PIN code is 0000. If you have forgotten the PIN code, please
contact your local TV distributor.

You can easily navigate the DTV Setup menus using the assigned numeric for each menu. Press the 2-2 buttons in order
at DtV Setup menu to select Language Setting menu.

time Shifted Recording (tSR)

The TV automatically record the programme on air in the installed hard disk drive temporarily, so that users can
pause, play, fast rewind, fast forward, instant replay, etc. even while watching the currently broadcasting TV
programme.
note: For more information on the playback control, refer to Palyback control buttons (p.).
tSR Play bar
If you press the playback control buttons while watching TV, the TSR Play bar appears on the bottom of the screen.
TSR Play bar displays the current operation status, the time gap between the broadcasting point and watching point,
and the amount of temporarily saved programme.

6 Current time (hh:mm)
note: When the operation status is PLAYING or LIVE on the TSR Play bar, if you take no action for about 10
seconds, the TSR Play bar will be disappear.
