Mains water connection

The machine is only suitable for con‐
nection to a cold water line that
– is directly connected to the fresh wa‐
ter mains in order to ensure sufficient
circulation and therefore good water
quality.
Avoid connection to a water supply
in which the water might stagnate.
This will affect the taste of drinks
prepared with the coffee machine.
– The machine is constructed to com‐
ply with the relevant DIN standard
and may be connected to the mains
drinking water supply without a non-
return valve if national regulations
permit.
– The water inlet must be able to with‐
stand the required operating pres‐
sure.
– The water flow pressure needs to be
between 1 and 10 bar (10
Pa).
– The stainless steel hose supplied is
1.5 m long. The hose may not be
lengthened as too much water would
then remain in the hose, adversely af‐
fecting the quality of the coffee.
– National and local hygiene regula‐
tions must be complied with.
– A tap must be provided between the
stainless steel hose and the house‐
hold water supply to ensure that the
water supply can be cut off if neces‐
sary.
The tap should be easily accessible
after the machine has been built in.
