To determine the location of pin 1, hold the cable so that the end of the 10-pin RJ-45
connector is facing away from you, with the clip side down and the copper side up.
The copper connector on the far left is pin 1.
NOTE: When using the TPS-VID-1 or TPS-VID-2, pins 3, 4, 7, and 8 are used to
transmit video signals from the touchpanel interface to the TPS-6000. Consult the
latest revision of the TPS-VID-1/VID-2 Operations & Installation Guide (Doc. 6059)
for details.
LAN
This port is activated with the purchase and installation of the TPS-ENET, a 10/100
BaseT Ethernet card. Consult the latest revision of the TPS-ENET Operations &
Installation Guide (Doc. 5867) for details.
24 VDC, 2.0A
This female connector is used to supply 24 VDC power to the TPS-6000 from an
optional power pack (Crestron model PW-2420RU). If video is to be displayed on
the touchpanel, 24 VDC power must be supplied to the TPS-IMPC through either the
Cresnet connector or the TPS-IMPCs 24VDC connector.
CAUTION: Use only Crestron power supplies for Crestron equipment. Failure to
do so could cause equipment damage or void the Crestron warranty.
CAUTION: If power is provided to the TPS-6000 from the +24VDC on a Cresnet
connector or the optional PW-2420RU to the touchpanel base, power must not be
applied to the power input on the TPS-IMPC.
NOTE: Use care in wiring installations to avoid applying 24 VDC power to Cresnet
wiring from multiple sources.

Recommended Cleaning

Keep the surface of the touchscreen free of dirt, dust, or other materials that could
degrade optical properties. Long term contact with abrasive materials can scratch the
surface, which may detrimentally affect image quality.
For best cleaning results, use a clean, damp, non-abrasive cloth with any
commercially available non-ammonia glass cleaner. Bezels may not provide a
complete watertight seal. Therefore, apply cleaning solution to the cloth rather than
the surface of the touchscreen. Wipe touchscreen clean and avoid ingress of moisture
beneath the bezels.
