Thermal Test Data

Given the large number of factors influencing thermal performance, it is not feasible to test every
possible permutation. Instead, the strategy is to provide test data for several specific test cases that
allow the user to make first estimates and then perform real testing.
For a more detailed Thermal Test Report and further thermal design guidance please contact Emerson
technical support.
Note: all testing is performed in still ambient air (zero airflows) with the unit mounted on the DIN rail
with clearances as described in installation instructions within this manual.
Note: all tests ensure that CPU never throttles due to thermal limitations
