Connecting external options

If you install an optional SCSI adapter, or use the secondary channel on the
integrated SCSI controller for external devices, you can attach external SCSI
devices, such as a SCSI storage expansion enclosure, to the computer. To use
secondary channel for external SCSI devices, remove the SCSI knockout from the
rear of the computer and secure the free end of the secondary channel cable in the
new opening.
You can connect a number of optional external devices to the connectors on the
rear and front of the computer.
Complete the following steps to attach an external device:
