Setting Up Groups for Broadcasting

Groups allow you to send the same fax message to many fax numbers by
pressing only five keys (Search/Speed Dial, #, the two-digit location, and
Black Fax Start). First, you'll need to store each fax number as a Speed Dial
number. Then, you can combine them into a Group. Each Group uses up a
Speed Dial number. You can have up to six Groups, or you can assign up to 39
numbers to one large Group.

Press Menu/Set, 2, 3, 2.

Press Search/Speed Dial, enter the
two-digit location where you wish to
store the Group number,
and then press Menu/Set.
(For example, press
Search/Speed Dial, 07.)

Use the dial pad to enter the Group
number, and then press Menu/Set.
(For example, press 1 for Group 1.)

To include Speed Dial numbers in the
Group, enter them as if you were dialing.
For example, for Speed Dial locations 05
and 09, press the Search/Speed Dial
press 05, Seach/Speed Dial, and then
09. The LCD shows: #05#09.

Press Menu/Set to accept the numbers for this Group.

Use the dial pad and the chart on
page 4-3 to enter a name for the Group,
and then press Menu/Set.
(For example, NEW CLIENTS).

Press Stop/Exit.
You can print a list of all Speed Dial numbers. (See Chapter 9,
