Setting Date and Time

Your MFC displays the date and time, and prints it on every fax you send.
In the event of a power failure, you may have to reset the date and time. All other
settings remain unaffected.

Press Menu/Set, 1, 3.

Enter the last two digits of the year,
and then press Menu/Set.

Enter two digits for the month (for
example, enter 09 for September, or 10
for October), and then press Menu/Set.

Enter two digits for the day (for example,
06), and then press Menu/Set.

Enter the time in 24-hour format (for example, enter 15:25 for 3:25 P.M.),
and then press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
The LCD now displays the date and time you set whenever the MFC is in
Standby mode.

Setting Station ID

You should store your name and fax number to be printed on all fax pages that
you send.

Press Menu/Set, 1, 4.

Enter your fax number (up to 20 digits),
and then press Menu/Set.
You must enter a fax number to proceed.

Use the dial pad to enter your name (up to 20 characters), and then press
Menu/Set. (See

Press Stop/Exit.
The LCD returns to the date and time.
If your Station ID has already been programmed, the LCD prompts
