Recording a conversation (FAX-2440C only)

If you are using the handset, you can record a telephone
Play/Record
conversation by pressing during the conversation.
Your recording can be as long as the Incoming Message Maximum
Time. The other party will hear an intermittent beep while recording.
Stop/Exit
To stop recording, press .
Record Fax/Tel Outgoing Announcement
(F/T OGM)
This is the announcement played by your Brother machine (not an
external TAD) when someone calls and your machine is set to
Fax/Tel receive mode. Although callers hear your announcement,
they cannot leave a message. By choosing F/T Message (not TAD
Message ) you can record the announcement using the same steps
as for the TAD outgoing message. (See Recording TAD Outgoing
Message (FAX-2440C only) on page 7-2.) You can also listen to and
erase the F/T Message the same way, by choosing F/T Message
(not TAD Message ). (See Recording TAD Outgoing Message
(MFC-620CN only) on page 7-3 and Erasing Outgoing Message
(OGM) on page 7-4.)
