8.18. Disassembly of CD Mechanism

• Refer to "Disassembly of Net Frame Assembly"
• Refer to "Disassembly of Base Stand Assembly"
• Refer to "Disassembly of Docking Lid"
• Refer to "Disassembly of Front Cabinet Assembly"
Step 1 : Remove 2 screws.
Step 2 : Lift up the CD Mechanism.
Step 3 : Detach 27P FFC at the connector (CN7002) on Main
P.C.B..
Step 4 : Detach 5P wire at the connector (CN7901) on CD
Servo P.C.B..
Step 5 : Remove CD Mechanism.
Caution : During assembling of the CD Mechanism, ensure
that the 27P FFC & 5P wire fold as picture shown to pre-
vent track jump.
