18 Troubleshooting

18.1 Troubleshooting Pole Pruner and Battery

► Remove the battery.
► Clean electrical contacts in the battery
compartment.
► Insert battery.
► Switch on the pole pruner.
► If 3 LEDs continue flashing red: Do not use the pole
pruner and contact a STIHL specialist dealer.
► Allow the pole pruner to cool down.
► Remove battery and reinsert it.
► Switch on the pole pruner.
► If 4 LEDs continue to flash red: Do not use the
battery and contact your STIHL dealer for
assistance.
► Remove the battery.
► Clean electrical contacts in the battery
compartment.
► Insert battery.
► Allow pole pruner or battery to dry.
► Allow the pole pruner to cool down.
► Switch on the pole pruner.
► Fully charge battery as described in the User
Manual for chargers STIHL AL 101, 300, 500.
