11.2 Fitting and Adjusting the Shoulder Strap

► Put on the shoulder strap (1).
► Adjust the shoulder strap (1) so that the carabiner (2) is
about a hand's width below your right hip.

11.3 Holding and Controlling the Pole Pruner

► Connect the carrying ring (2) to the carabiner (1).

► Hold the pole pruner with one hand by the control handle
– wrap your thumb around the control handle.
► Hold the pole pruner firmly with your other hand by the
handle hose - wrap your thumb around the handle hose.

11.4 Limbing

Cross-cut

► Position the stop (1) against the branch.
► With the chain running a full speed, pivot the guide bar
downward against the limb.
► Cut through the limb with the bottom of the guide bar.
