STARTER MOTOR

3.5.1

REMOVING THE STARTER MOTOR

NOTE
Engine can be left assembled on frame.
In case of starter motor (1) faulty operation, before removing this part, check
electrical connections and, if necessary, restore them.

Loosen and remove the screw (2).
"
Disconnect connector (3).
"
Loosen and remove the two screws (4).

REFITTING THE STARTER MOTOR

Make sure that the O-ring (1) is correctly seated, apply a thin layer of special
grease for oil seals, see 1.8 (LUBRICANT CHART). Refit the starter motor
(2).

Position and tighten the two screws (3).
"
Reconnect connector (4) and tighten screw (5).
