Removing clothes guard (optional)

If you do not have sufficient muscle strength, you
should ask other persons for help. Use a sliding
board, if possible.
Getting into the mobility device:
1. Position your mobility device as close as possible to
your seat. This might have to be done by an attendant.
2. Align casters parallel to the drive wheels to improve
stability during transfer.
3. Always switch your mobility device off.
4. Always engage both motor locks/clutches and free wheel
hubs (if fitted) to prevent the wheels from moving.
5. Depending on the armrest type of your mobility device,
detach the armrest or swivel it up.
6. Now slide into the mobility device.
Getting out of the mobility device:
1. Position your mobility device as close as possible to
your seat.
2. Align casters parallel to the drive wheels to improve
stability during transfer.
3. Always switch your mobility device off.
4. Always engage both motor locks/clutches and free wheel
hubs (if fitted) to prevent the wheels from moving.
5. Depending on the armrest type of your mobility device,
detach the armrest or swivel it up.
6. Now slide onto your new seat.
