3-1. Preparation

3-1-1. Equipment Required

. Digital voltmeter
Advantest TR6450 or equivalent
. DC regulated power supply
Kikusui PAK20-18A or equivalent
. Spectrum analyzer
Maximum frequency: 500 MHz
Band width: 1 MHz/Div, 10 MHz/Div selectable
. Oscilloscope
Tektronix TDS3054B or equivalent
. Signal generator
Agilent Technologies 8648A or equivalent
. Coaxial cable with N-type connectors (2 pieces)
Cable supplied with the unit or equivalent

3-1-2. Notes on Adjustment

. All measuring equipment should be calibrated.
. Before adjustment, warm up the unit and measuring
equipment for about 10 minutes.
. When the down-converter is not connected or the signal
generator is connected to the IF INPUT connector, the
error message "IF Not Connected" is displayed on the
status indications.
But it is no effect for the adjustments.
. Perform the adjustments continuously from Sections 3-2
to 3-6 in order.

A part of adjustments given in this section uses the
technical menu.
For operation of the technical menu, refer to Section 2-1.
In this Section, describes the technical menu operation as
follows.
For example:
When 15V in D.C. Voltage of A/D Level Adjust menu is
selected from technical menu.
