1-14. Note on Service

1-14-1. Error Message

If an error is generated, the error message is displayed on
the LCD.
For details on the error message, refer to the operation
manual of this unit.

1-14-2. Notes on LCD

If the power of the unit is turned on immediately after
turned off, it causes the insufficient electrical discharge
resulting in the abnormal display on the LCD by the
module malfunction.
Therefore, wait for two or more seconds to turn on the
power after turning it off.

1-14-3. Circuit Protection Device

The MDM-11 board is provided with positive thermistors
for power line to protect circuits. This device limits a
current by steeply increasing the inner resistance when the
device rises to a certain temperature due to overcurrent or
high ambient temperature. If the device is activates once,
turn off the power and check an equipment concerned; the
other equipment connected to the DC-IN connector of the
unit. After the cause is eliminated and the device cools off,
turn on the power again. If there is no trouble, the unit will
operate normally. It takes about one minute for the device
to cool off after powering off the unit.

1-14-4. Notes on Disconnecting/Connecting
the Coaxial Cable
The coaxial cables are used for this unit.
The following notes are required for disconnecting/
connecting the coaxial cables.
Notes on Disconnecting
Do not attempt to remove by pulling the cable. Be sure to
hold the plug to remove.

connector vertically.

left and the right.
