Power Connections

The 24VAC power lines enter the AD1273 through a 7-pin
Plug and Ramp connector (see Figure 9). The 7-pin Ramp
connector is mounted to the printed circuit board. The 7-pin
Plug mating connector is shipped with the AD1273 unit.
Assemble the 7-pin Plug connector by inserting the appropriate
24VAC power and ground lines into the corresponding slots
listed in Table 5 and tightening the hold-down screws.

Wire Selection

Table 6 lists the wire gauge versus maximum distance allowed
between the AD1273 pan/tilt and the voltage source. Shielded
cable is recommended for most applications.
Note: Distance calculations are based on solid copper wire,
single common, and worst case current draw (i.e.,
diagonal pan/tilt operation).
