Countermeasure
Check for blinking lights in
your application. Use masking
to exclude blinking lights
from the detection or
increase the verification time
(see Adjustments of image
regions).
If blinking lights cause false
alarms, set Sensitivity to low
(see chapter General
settings).
Avoid permanently installed
and slow moving objects in
the field of view of the
camera.
If large / slow moving objects
are moving continuously in
the same direction, mount
the camera with view against
the motion direction of the
objects (like conveyor belts).
In case of false alarms, set
Sensitivity to low (see
chapter General settings).
Only mount the camera in
vibration isolated areas.

false alarms.
Large, slow moving objects
behind other objects may
have an appearance similar to
fire or smoke and lead to
false alarms.
Vibrations can move and
