6. Remove one screw and remove the four solders from
the connectors (CN103, CN104, CN105 and CN106)
on the CN-2272 board, then remove the CN-2272
board from the connector mounting plate.
7. Remove the two nuts from the connector mounting
plate, then remove the two washers, two earth lugs and
two BNC connectors.
8. Remove the S-video connector from the connector
mounting plate.
9. Remove one nut from the connector mounting plate,
then remove one spacer and one synchro-socket.

10. Install the CN-2272 board in the reverse order of steps
1 to 9.

When attaching the connector panel assembly, insert the
portion A of the connector panel into the portion B of the
chassis securely.

1-4-9. FM-84 Board
1. Remove the upper case assembly. (Refer to Section 1-
3-2.)
2. Remove the SY-301 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-6.)
3. Remove the IF-847 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-7.)
4. Remove the CN-2272 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-8.)
5. Disconnect the six flexible flat cables from the
connectors (CN401, CN852, CN1001, CN1002,
CN1005, CN1006) on the FM-84 board.
6. Remove the two screws for D-sub connector, two
screws for IEEE1394 connector and nut and washer of
mini-jack.
7. Remove the three screws, then remove the FM-84
board in the direction indicated by the arrow.

8. Install the FM-84 board in the reverse order of steps 1
to 7.
