Replacement Procedure
•
Perform sections 2.1 - 2.8 of the disassembly procedure.
1. Dislodge the functional keyboard portion of the
keyfoil assembly from the support plate by
prying between the two parts in the two
locations indicated.
2. Disengage one of the two latches holding the
functional keyboard on the keyfoil assembly.
3. Press on the back of the navigation key portion
of the functional keyboard to dislodge the
functional keyboard from the keyfoil assembly.
4. Near the middle of the bottom edge of the
numeric keyboard, slide one side of the tip of a
style 2A tweezers between the numeric
keyboard and keyfoil assembly.
