Switching on your ST70 Instrument
To switch on your ST70 instrument, hold down
The instrument powers up and shows the page that was displayed
when the power was last switched off.
Note:
If power to a system to which ST70 instruments is connected is switched centrally
(e.g.from a central circuit breaker), the on/off condition of each individual instrument when
system power is applied reverts to what it was when the system power was last switched off.
See the ST70 User Reference Manual for system power protocol.
Important
Do not use the instrument until it has been commissioned as
described in the ST70 User Reference Manual.
If you power up and a CHOOSE LANGUAGE page is displayed, the
instrument has not been commissioned since it was installed, so you
need to carry out the commissioning procedure before using the
instrument.
Operational pages
Data is displayed on operational pages, one page at a time.
Eight operational pages are available, and each page can be divided into up to six separate
data areas or 'frames'.
You can move from page to page either manually using
rollover feature.
Refer to Card 6 if you want to
• Set a rollover period and activate the automatic rollover.
• Switch off the rollover to return to manual page selection.

You can switch OFF individual operational pages. Refer to Card 5 for details
Customizing the operational pages
You can change any operational page, to show only the information you want. You can:
• Change the information in any frame of any page. Refer to Card 7 for details.
• Rebuild any page, so it has a different frame layout with different data. Refer to Card 8 for
details.
