5.2. Change the IP Address

The LAN with revision after 2.0 allows you change all four numbers (octets) of the IP address
front panel.
The IP address has four numbers (ex: "192.168.53.44"). Each number may be set to any value
from 1 to 254.
1. Press and hold the FOLD button for three seconds. The 7-segment displays will show
something such as:
The Power supply must be set to Local mode to allow changing the IP address
IP-1
192
"192" is the 1st number in the address.
2. 2. Rotate tohe voltage encoder until the display shows samething such as:
IP-3
53
"53" is the 1st number in the address.
3. Rotate the current encoder to change the 3d number in the address:
IP-3
60
4. To apply the new address, momentarily press the "FOLD" button..
See the display shows for a few seconds:
Lan
Hold
This shows the LAN connection is on hold while acquiring the new address.
I. If you da not press "FOLD" soon enough, the display returns to normal and the old address is kept.
II. If another device already has the address you are trying to set (duplicate addresses), then
after "Lan Hold" clears, the front panel will blink and the address will return to what it was
before the change was made.
When you change the IP address from the front panel,
the Genesys™ LAN will switch to STATIC addressing.
"60" is the new 3d number.
( DHCP and Auto-IP addressing will be disabled)
