Mounting the Drive Tube

Pull the protective cap off the drive

tube (1).
Slide the two throttle cable
N
retainers (2) and the clamp (3) for
the harness onto the drive tibe in the
order shown.

If the machine support is supplied

separately – use the two M5x16
screws to mount the machine
support (4) to the underside of the
engine.
Unscrew the center screw (6) from
N
the sleeve (7) and pull the cap (5)
off the clutch housing (8). Then
push the cap onto the drive tube.
Push the drive tube through the
N
sleeve and into the clutch
housing (8) until the hole (9) in the
drive tube lines up with the tapped
hole (10) in the sleeve.
