10..Brake System
Loosen the brake pad pin with a 5 mm Allen.
Remove the brake pad pin with a 5 mm Allen.
Free the brake pads from the pad retainer.
Remove the brake pads.
Replace the pads if the brake wear exceeds the wear indicator lines or if the wear is uneven.
Always replace brake pads as a set.
When installation:
Apply a light coat of waterproof grease to the brake pad pin. Push the pads
against the pad spring.It may be necessary to rotate the piston and force the
pistons back into the caliper in order to allow room for the brake disc to fit
between the new pads.
Install the rear caliper. Guide the brake disc between the pads. Install the two
caliper bracket mounting bolts. Tighten the mounting bolts to specification.
