mates regarding vibration and noise loads during
operation.

insertion tools or if not maintained adequately. Take
note of idling and downtimes of machine!

Intended use
Oscillator designed for
– cutting wood (max. 78 mm), plastic, glass-fibre
reinforced plastic (GRP), plasterboard and non-
ferrous metals (max. 1 mm),
– Scraping away carpet residues and cutting elas-
tic sealant,
– in a weatherproof environment,
– with tools and accessories manufactured by Fes-
tool.
Not suitable for removing windows from passenger
cars, trucks and buses or renovating concrete
joints and for sanding.
The user is liable for improper or non-in-
tended use.

Commissioning
WARNING
Unauthorised voltage or frequency!
Risk of accident
The mains voltage and the frequency of the pow-
er source must correspond with the specifica-
tions on the machine's name plate.
In North America, only Festool machines with
the voltage specifications 120 V/60 Hz may be
used.
The switch [1-3] is an on/off switch (I = ON, 0 =
OFF).
 In case of a power failure or if the mains con-
nector is removed, move the on/off switch im-
mediately to the Off position. This prevents un-
controlled restarting.
