Adding a Hot Pluggable Power Supply Unit

A second hot pluggable power supply unit can be added to achieve a redundant
power supply. If one power supply unit fails, the second power supply unit
ensures that operation continues unimpaired.
The slot for the second hot pluggable power supply unit contains a dummy unit,
which must be removed before installing the second power supply unit.
Ê Remove the dummy unit from the second power supply unit slot. To do this,
remove the screw securing the dummy unit, push the dummy unit upwards
and unhook it at the top.

CAUTION!
Keep the dummy unit for future use. If the power supply unit is
removed and not replaced with a new unit, then the dummy unit must
be reinstalled due to cooling, the applicable EMC regulations (regula-
tions on electromagnetic compatibility) and fire protection.
