Notes on using the heating/air-condi-
tioning system

Only use the "demisting" settings briefly
until the windscreen is clear again. This
prevents the battery from discharging
unnecessarily.
Only use the air-recirculation mode briefly,
e.g. if there are unpleasant outside odours
or when in a tunnel. The windows could
otherwise mist up, as no fresh air is fed into
the vehicle in air-recirculation mode.

The rear window heating has a high current
draw. You should therefore switch it off as
soon as the rear window is clear.
Turning the heating system on/off
i When the heating system is switched off,
the air supply and air recirculation are also
switched off. Only select this setting
briefly. Otherwise, the windows may mist
up.
