i This Owner's Manual describes all mod-
els, series and optional equipment for your
vehicle that were available at the time of
going to press. Country-specific differen-
ces are possible. Note that your vehicle
may not be fitted with all features descri-
bed. This is also the case for systems and

Observe the settings recommended on the
following pages. The windows could other-
wise mist up. This could prevent you from
observing the traffic conditions, thereby
causing an accident.
The heating and air-conditioning system
heats or cools the vehicle interior.
The heating and air-conditioning system can
be operated when the engine is running.
i Ventilate the vehicle for a brief period
during warm weather. This will accelerate
the cooling process.
