If necessary, contact a specialist
dealer; STIHL recommends STIHL
specialist dealers.
Fault:
Motor does not start
Possible cause:
– No mains voltage
– Connection cable, plug, plug connector
or switch defective
– Start button not pressed
– Motor is overloaded because the grass
is too tall or too wet
– Motor overload protection activated
– Mower housing is blocked
– Fuse in plug faulty (GB version)
Remedy:
– Check fuse (

necessary (

– Mowing blade is blunt or worn,
– Rate of feed is too high in relation to the
