1 Overview
1.1 Basics
The OCI600 central communication unit is used for the su-
pervision and remote operation of one or several heating
and/or ventilation plants. It serves as an interface between
the ACS7... software and the heating or ventilation plant
whose devices are interconnected via LPB (Local Process
Bus).
Utilization of the OCI600 central communication unit is
strongly interwoven with the ACS7... software, which reads
specific data points of the OCI600. These data points can
then be changed with the ACS7... software. The present
User Manual focuses on operating and handling the OCI600
and gives a description of the ACS7... operating steps re-
quired for dealing with the specific data points brought into
play by the OCI600.
1.2 Device combinations
The following types of LPB controllers can be connected to
the OCI600:
- RVD district heat controllers of the 200 series
- RVP heating controllers of the 300 series
- RVL heating controllers of the 400 series
- RVP energy managers of the 500 series
- RVA... heating controllers (OEM devices)
- RWI65... ventilation controllers
