1. Lift
4. Mount each side of lift to frame channels with
a reinforcing plate and (2) 3/8-16 x 1 inch large
flange head capscrews and flange nuts (Figure 10).
Reinforcing plates to be used in rear mounting holes
only.
Note: On HD, HDX and HDX-D models, the frame
is equipped with weld nuts so the flange nuts are not
required to secure the front of the lift to the frame
channels.

Connect Wires

Procedure
1. Plug the connectors from the front and rear harness'
into the lift harness.
2. Locate the oil pressure switch on the engine and
unplug the wire connected to the switch.
3. Route the green wire from the front harness and
connect it to the oil pressure switch.
4. Plug the wire previously removed from the oil
pressure switch into the harness piggy back
connector.

5. Connect ground wire from lift to engine ground.
6. Remove the nut from the positive battery clamp
(Figure 11).
7. Insert the positive wire from the lift and the ring
terminal end of the red wire from the front harness
onto the cable clamp screw and loosely secure it with
the nut removed (Figure 11).

8. Make sure wiring is clear of all hot or rotating parts.
Secure with cable ties as required.

Reconnect Battery

No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Reinstall positive battery cable to battery.
2. Slide rubber boot over positive terminal to prevent
possible short-out from occurring.
