4.7.7 PAPER REMAINS ROLLED ON THE OPC DRUM

Description: Paper remains rolled on the OPC drum.
Cause
1. Paper is too thin.
2. The face of the paper is curled.

PAPER FEED PROBLEMS
Solution
1. Use paper supported by the machine
specifications.
2. Ensure paper is stored correctly.
To remove paper in the OPC:
1) Remove the toner cartridge from the
machine (do not touch the green OPC
drumnsurface with bare hands).
2) Rotate the gear wheel and remove the
paper from the cassette.
3) Clean all fingerprints from the OPC
with a soft tissue. Ensure no
scratching occurs to the drum surface.
