LSU

The LSU consists of the laser diode and the polygon motor control. When the
printing signal is detected, the laser diode turns on and the polygon motor is
enabled. HSync occurs when the light sensor detects the beam, and LReady
occurs when the polygon motor speed reaches normal. The LSU is ready when
these two conditions are satisfied. The errors in the table below show the possible
error types when one or both of the two conditions is not satisfied.
