RECORDING (CONTINUED)
You must set the alarm record mode in the ALARM SETUP menu before executing alarm recording.
1. Press the MENU button to display MENU on the monitor.
Then select ALARM SETUP using the MOVE button.
2. Set the REC MODE to the desired recording speed using the SELECT button.
3. Set the DURATION for the recording of the recording of the alarm to 30 SEC, 1 MIN,
3 MIN, 5 MIN, 10 MIN or T-END (tape end).
4. Set BUZZER to ON.
Once the Alarm Record Setup is complete, an alarm signal will cause the buzzer to sound, and will indicate the start of the alarm record
mode. The Alarm Indicator lights will be on for the duration of the Alarm Record Mode. After the set time for alarm recording has ended,
the VCR resumes the recording operation it was in prior to the alarm being triggered.
On the front of the VCR, the ALARM STANDBY LED will be ON to indicate the VCR is set to record on alarm. The LED blinks during
the Alarm Record Mode.
NOTE:

If a SET signal is applied during alarm record, a new alarm record will start with the new SET signal.
Should one SET signal be applied within 60 seconds of another, the later SET signal will be ignored and a new alarm record
will not occur.

Alarm record will continue for the time which has been set in the ALARM REC DURATION menu, even if the VCR timer has
reached its stop time.
*
Alarm record automatically stops when the end of the tape is reached.

Alarm record can start recording when an alarm is triggered even if the VCR is stopped or is set for timer record.
