9. Lower wheel to ground. Torque wheel lug nuts from
70 to 90 ft- lb (95 to 122 N- m) in a crossing pattern.
10.Torque lock nut from 250 to 275 ft- lb (339 to 372
N- m). Release parking brake.
11. Check brake adjustment and adjust if necessary
(see Adjust Brakes in the Adjustments section).

Burnish Brake Pads
After brake pad replacement, burnish (break- in) the
brakes before use.
1. Bring the machine to full speed and apply the brakes
to rapidly stop the machine without skidding or locking
up the wheels.
2. Repeat this procedure 10 times. To avoid overheat-
ing the brakes, wait 1 minute between each stop.
