If you need to have your vehicle towed,
contact a professional service. Your dealer
can provide you with detailed towing
instruction.
CAUTION
To help avoid damage to your vehicle
during towing, proper equipment and
towing procedures must be used.
CAUTION
Towing your vehicle with the drive
wheels on the ground can result in
damage to the manual transmission.
Manual Transmission
Your vehicle can be towed from the rear
with the rear wheels lifted and the front
wheels on the ground, provided the ignition
key is turned to the "ACC" position to
unlock the steering wheel, and the front
wheels are facing straight forward and the
steering wheel is secured with a steering
wheel clamping device designed for tow-
ing.
If your vehicle is towed from the front with
the front wheels lifted, be sure to secure
the rear wheels on a towing dolly.
