The OVL Unit extends the capabilities of the F300 to allow it to be operated using
OVL (OMRON Vision Language). OVL was developed specifically for optical
recognition and image measurement to permit more sophisticated
measurements with a BASIC-like language. The OVL Unit's keyboard also al-
lows data input and system operation from the Menu mode in the same fashion
as is possible from the Console.
