Use any one of the following methods for
lubricating drive chain:
● SAE 80 or 90 gear oil.
● Honda recommended drive chain cleaner
and chain lube sprays.
Saturate each chain link joint so that the
lubricant penetrates
plates, pins, bushings, seals and rollers.
NOTICE
Improper maintenance of chain can lead
to premature wear of sprockets and chain
drive.

Drive Chain Wear
Check the "Drive Chain Wear Indicator Label"
(1) attached on the left swingarm.
If the "Index Marks" (2) of the "Drive Chain
Adjuster" (3) reaches "Red Zone" (4) of the
indicator label, replace the drive chain with
a new one.
Drive chain must be replaced with new
sprocket set.
Replacement chain:
DID420ADV-118LE, or LGB R4200R-118LE
or TIDC420XR-118LE
NOTICE
For chain replacement visit your nearest
