Clearray™ (UV light generator)
Use of the Clearray ™ normally reduces the need for chemical
water treatment additives and therefore also reduces costs.
Clearray™ operates automatically and is dependent on pump
activation; it remains off when the hydromassage, blower or even
just the spotlight are on (as it is presumed that there is some-
body in the tub); Clearray™ (where a filtering cycle is active) be-
gins operating once again 10 minutes subsequent to switching
off the aforementioned functions.

Rapid filtering ("Instant Clear")

This is recommended after intensive use of the spa and/or is
associated with chemical treatment of the water, to favour the
dissolution of substances used for disinfection.
To activate the function, press the key "Instant Clear"
The display will show the message boo.
The function lasts 45 minutes (this value cannot be changed).
During this time, the filtering pump and the hydromassage pumps
are turned on as follows:
- hydromassage pump 2 is activated only one time for one minute.
- hydromassage pump 1 is activated for the rest of the cycle
(Clearray™ is on for the entire duration of the cycle).
If the heater is on, it will continue to run normally, unless the
system is configured for limitation of electrical consumption.
The function stops:
- when the aforementioned time expires
- when another function is turned on (except for the time and/or
the spotlight).
- when the key is pressed again
NOTE: if you need to activate the anti-freeze protection dur-
ing rapid filtering, rapid filtering will be temporarily suspend-
ed to allow the anti-freeze protection to be started.

OZONATOR (OPTIONAL)

On request, an ozone generator can be provided which is to
installed on the spa-pak, parallel to the pipes that from the filter

return to the spa (see
The addition of an ozone generator aids in oxidizing the organ-
ic substances that get in the water, and therefore reduces the
need for chemical products for water treatment.
The ozonator works automatically. When the filtering pump is
running, the ozonator comes on for 20 minutes, shuts off for 10
minutes, comes back on for 20 minutes, and so on. These inter-
ruptions in operation prevent an excessive build-up of ozone in
closed environment.
The ozonator is however shut off when there are users in the
tub. When a hydromassage pump or the blower are switched on,
this is a clear signal that there are people in the tub. Therefore,
the ozonator is shut off and it stays off for 15 minutes after the
hydromassage pumps and/or blower are shut off.
With intense use of the spa, therefore, the ozonator will be
switched off for long periods.

ACTIVATION OF HYDROMASSAGE PUMPS
The hydromassage pumps are activated via the respective keys.
Refer to the user's manual to determine which jets are activated
by each pump:
Press the key "Pump 1"
Press the key "Pump 2"
pump.
The pump (or pumps) will run for 20 minutes, but can be turned
off before that by pressing the aforementioned keys again.
NOTES
- If the level of water in the compensation tanks is not correct,
the pumps are prevented from starting to protect them (also see
. the chapter on checking operation and first start-up).
- When the hydromassage is started, the filtering pump is al-
so turned on, if it was not already. It will remain on for 10 min-
utes after the hydromassage is turned off.

ACTIVATION OF BLOWER (air compressor)

The blower function is provided standard on some models and as
an option for others. If the system is equipped with a blower, it is
only activated by pressing the specific button that must be
installed near the spa, as with the hydromassage.
The blower can also be activated by means of the control
panel of the electronic box, using the same procedure and
method described in the previous chapter on the activation of the
hydromassage pumps.
Press the "Blower"
The blower can be activated either in conjunction with, or sep-
arately from, the hydromassage pumps. When the system is
started, however, the blower is always off, as are the hydro-
massage pumps.
The blower stays on for 20 minutes. It can be shut off before
that by pressing the key again.
If you want to use the blowers for aroma therapy, insert the per-
fume cartridge in the compartment located under the cover. Once
this cartridge is finished, it can be replaced by unscrewing the plug
and replacing it with a new one (cartridges are available from au-
thorised dealers and technical service centres).
NOTE: Replace used cartridges when the blower is off.
NOTES
- If the level of water in the compensation tanks is not correct,
the blower is prevented from starting to protect it (also see the
chapter on checking operation and first start-up).
- Activating the blower and the hydromassage pumps at the
same time will turn heater off, if it is on.
- When the blower is started, the filtering pump is also turned
