Refer to the preinstallation sheets and wiring diagrams and to
what is indicated below:
Check that the following connections have been provided
i
(
2, 2a, 3, 3a):
- connection to the plumbing network and to the ground drainage
points;
- plumbing connection between the spa, the spa-pak and the
compensation tank;
- installation of a water softener (upstream from the spa) if the

- electrical connections between the compensation tank and
the electrical box of the (also refer to the chapter on connec-
tions and electrical safety);
- connection of the electrical box installed on the spa-pak with the
electrical system of the building. The main disconnecting switch is
to be placed in a safe location that is accessible to users (also re-
fer to the chapter on connections and electrical safety);
For outdoor installation, it is advisable to drain the ducts
for the plumbing lines, or for the electrical cables, as well as any
inspection corridors, to prevent water accumulation. In cold ar-
eas, to prevent damage from freezing, provide valves for total
drainage of the pipes for connection to the spa-pak, to be placed

at their lowest point (
For indoor installation, it is necessary to remember that
water evaporation from the spa (especially where high temper-
atures are involved) can cause very high levels of humidity. Nat-
ural or forced ventilation helps to maintain personal comfort and
reduce damage to the building.
Jacuzzi Europe refuses all responsibility for any damage caused
by excessive humidity.
Consult a specialist for indoor installation.

NOTE: pipes and ball valves in PVC (with a suitable diameter
for the pipes) for the connection of the tub to the spa-pak and
to the compensation tank are not supplied by Jacuzzi Europe

GENERAL NOTICES

The spas are carefully packed in wood crates that ensure
protection during transport. Jacuzzi shall not be held liable
for damage incurred during transport or intermediate storage.
As soon as you receive the spa, it is therefore important to
check that the packaging is in perfect condition and if not, im-
mediately notify the forwarding agent.
Remove the spa from its packaging. During all subsequent
handling and positioning, hold it only by the edges and NEVER
by the plumbing pipes.
The spa is quite heavy. Therefore it is advisable to carry out
movement with suitable equipment and due care. Always use
protective gloves.
Carefully inspect the spa before proceeding with installation,
checking the correct position of the couplings, pipes and clamps
(check that they are not loose).
The installer must select pipes of a suitable diameter and lim-
it curves as much as possible (using PVC flexible pipes as nec-
essary) to minimize pressure drops. It is also advisable to install
a suitable number of PVC ball valves (
maintenance easier, without having to drain the spa (see dis-
assembly of filter, pumps, replacement of system connection
pipes, etc.).
