4.2.6 Removing the Shield Plate on the Main Board

1. Remove the C265 Main board. (See
2. Remove the remaining four connectors from the relay board. (See
Figure 4-5 when connecting them.)
3. Remove the two screws securing the right upper main shield plate
to the bottom frame and the other two screws securing the left upper
main shield plate to the bottom frame, and then remove both plates
together.

4. Disconnect the FFC from connector CN15 on the C265 Main board.
5. Remove the two screws securing the shield plate (top) to the bottom
frame, and remove the shield plate (top).
6. Remove the Type-B interface guide by first removing the grounding
plate shown in Figure 4-10

7. Viewing the main board from overhead, remove the two screws
securing the C265 Main board onto the bottom frame.
8. Viewing the main board from the printer's rear, remove the four
small screws and then remove the C265 Main board.
