Stop switch – refi tting

Carefully press the new stop switch into place.
Check that the switch's upper mounting clips over
the air fi lter holder.

Refi t the short circuit spring. Engage the short
circuit spring in the front slot fi rst then lift the rear
edge onto the stop switch. Slide the short circuit
spring in as far as it will go.

Refi t:
• the leads to the short circuit spring and stop
switch
• left rubber mounting
• air fi lter
• cylinder
Choke control – removal

Remove the cylinder cover, air fi lter and stop
switch.

Tilt the carburettor.

Compress the clip that holds the choke control to
the carburettor while pulling it out at the same time.
Disconnect the choke control from the air fi lter
holder.
