Repair instructions
Stop switch – refitting

Carefully press the new stop switch into place.
Refit the stop plate. Push the stop plate into the
front slot first and lift the rear edge of the plate into
position using a screwdriver or pliers.

Push the carburettor gently back into the left-hand
rubber mounting.

Reconnect the leads to the stop plate. Refit the air
filter by rotating it clockwise.

Fit the cylinder cover. If the cylinder cover is held
by screws, tighten them to a torque of 2–3 Nm.
Choke control – replacement
In order to replace the choke control the following
parts must be removed first:
• cylinder cover
• air filter
• throttle pushrod
• fuel hose
• stop switch
• carburettor
Using a pair of pliers, compress the plastic clip that
holds the choke control and pull it out. Push the
new choke control into place so that it is gripped by
the plastic clips.
Refit:
• fuel hose
• carburettor
• stop switch
• throttle pushrod
• air filter
• cylinder cover
