Another VCR
Player
Dubbing from any VCR (or video
camera) to another is simple.
Explanations on this page uses this
VCR as the recording VCR.
Refer also to the manual supplied with
the other VCR (for playback).
Note:
When this VCR is using the
recording VCR,
You can also use S-Video or Video/
Audio input jacks on the front panel if
another VCR has S-Video or Video/
Audio output jacks.
When this VCR is using the playing
VCR,
You can use the following connector or
jacks.
• AV1 IN/OUT connector (Rear
panel): if another VCR has Scart
input connector.
Be sure to set the AV1 OUT switch
to appropriate position. ( P.9)
• S-Video/Audio output jacks (Rear
panel): if another VCR has S-Video/
Audio input jacks.

PERATIONS
1 Connect the recording VCR (this VCR) and the playing
VCR.
2 Connect the recording VCR (this VCR) to the TV.

At VCRs
Insert a source tape in the playing VCR
and a blank tape in the recording VCR.

At TV
Tune the channel on the TV to your
video channel or external line input.

Select Line Input
Press Number button "0" and/or
PROG. +/– to select the line input.
• L-1: For rear panel AV1 IN/OUT
• L-2: For rear panel AV2 IN/
• S-1: For front panel S-Video/Audio
• F-1: For front panel Video/Audio
If you are using a rear panel AV1 IN/
OUT or AV2 IN/DECODER connector,
be sure to set the "AV1 SELECT" or
"AV2 SELECT" on the Mode Set
Screen to appropriate mode. ( P.27)

Select Tape Speed
Press SPEED, until the desired tape
speed (SP or LP) appears on the
display.

Play Back Tape

Press the PLAY
button on the
Playing VCR.

Record (Copy) Tape
Press RECORD
at this VCR.
Remember: Press the buttons in step 5
and 6 simultaneously to avoid missing
any of the recording.
