Using this remote control to
operate TV
You can use this remote control to
operate PHILIPS TV and other
manufacturers' TV.
To operate TV, see page 36.

Minimizes the TV volume instantly.
Press again to return to the previous

Activates slow motion picture when
pressed for more than 2 seconds during

Calls up the main menu.

Activates the jog dial and shuttle ring
on the remote control when the lamp

Starts reverse or forward rapid visual
search during playback or still picture
mode. ( P.23)
15 TV POWER button
Turns the TV on or off.
16 VCR POWER button
• Turns the VCR on or off.
• Sets the VCR for an unattended
recording (timer recording) after
timer settings are completed.

• Selects a channel position on the
VCR.
To select channel positions 1 to 9,
press 0 then the channel position you
want. For example, for channel
position 4, press 0 then 4.

• Erases unwanted timer programmes.
