• Measure the vertical difference between the
markings (14 & 17).
• If the difference between the markings is 4 mm
or less, the tool is properly calibrated.
• If the difference between the markings is more
than 4 mm, the tool must be serviced.
Square angle check (fig. H1 - H3)
• Place the tool in an area of at least 10 m by 5 m.
Position the tool so that it is aimed front-to-back
towards the short walls.
• Place the tool at approximately 10 cm from the
wall as measured from the front of the tool.
Level the tool as required. Mark the centre of the
up laser aperture (18) on the floor.
• Switch on the tool. Mark the centre of the front
laser dot (19) on the opposite short wall.
• Locate the position of the front laser beam
halfway between the short walls using a target.
Mark this point (20) on the floor. Switch off the
tool.
• Move the tool in a straight line to the floor
marking (20).
• Align the up laser aperture with the floor marking
(20). Level the tool as required.
• Switch on the tool. Align the front laser beam
with the wall marking (19).
• Mark the centre of the square laser dot (21) on
the long wall.
• Switch off the tool and rotate it 90° clockwise.
• Align the up laser aperture with the floor marking
(20). Level the tool as required.
• Switch on the tool. Align the front laser beam
with the wall marking (21).
• Locate the position of the square laser beam
parallel to the starting point (18) at the short wall
using a target. Mark this point (22) on the floor.
Switch off the tool.
• Measure the difference between the markings
(18 & 22).
• If the difference between the markings is 9 mm
or less, the tool is properly calibrated.
• If the difference between the markings is more
than 9 mm, the tool must be serviced.
Cleaning
• Remove the batteries before cleaning the tool.
• Regularly clean the housing with a soft cloth.

at municipal waste sites or by the retailer when you
purchase a new product.
